TEAM EVENTS
We work hard together, and we believe in celebrating together, too. That includes marking the big and small life moments for our team members: weddings, babies, new houses and more. We also host holiday parties and team potlucks to connect outside of project work.
GIVING BACK
We are committed to supporting the community that supports us. We hold an annual day of service where we give back to our nonprofit clients and other organizations in the St. Louis area, spending our time helping them with various projects.
Honoring Our Legacy
1905 New Media’s culture is built on a foundation of creativity, truth and mutual support. We formally celebrate this spirit with the Bredon Jones Utopia Award, an honor named for our late co-worker and friend, Bredon Jones.
Bredon’s personal dream was to create “a self-employed utopia of creativity and truth,” and he lived that vision every day. This peer-nominated award is our way of honoring his legacy and recognizing the team member who best embodies that mission. It’s given to the team member who has shown a true passion for the well-being of others and has actively helped shape a positive, supportive and fulfilling environment for everyone.
The recipient is someone who consistently demonstrates:
- Consistent use of honest and transparent communication
- Willingness to work collaboratively as a team and participate in team-building efforts
- Ability to uplift and inspire their peers, acting as a team anchor during difficult times
- Integrates the company’s inclusive values into everything that they do
