Cinqaset

Challenge
We were introduced to this group by a respected interior design firm with whom we had previously collaborated. As the company expanded its portfolio, they sought brand identities that could complement the designer’s bold interiors while giving each concept its own distinct personality. Our task was to develop names and brand systems that felt authentic, memorable, and seamlessly connected to the guest experience.
Solution
Working closely with both the interior design firm and the hospitality group, we developed unique brand identities for multiple concepts, including the standout name Cinqaset—a playful nod to the French expression for “happy hour” (5 to 7). In addition to naming, we created comprehensive visual identity systems that translated each design vision into cohesive guest-facing experiences across logos, menus, signage, and marketing.

Solution
Working in close collaboration with Siren Betty and Footman Hospitality, we developed unique brand identities for each concept, including the standout name Cinqaset. A playful nod to the French slang for “happy hour” (5 to 7). Alongside the naming, we created full visual identity packages that translated design vision into guest-facing experiences through logos, menus, signage, and marketing. The result: three successful restaurants, each with a brand presence as strong as its interior design. Cinqaset, in particular, has become a case study for us, showcasing how effective collaboration between branding and design can transform an idea into a thriving hospitality destination.
How It Landed
The result: a successful restaurant with a brand presence as strong as its interior design. Cinqaset quickly became the breakout success, with its name and visual system earning recognition across Chicago’s dining scene and driving high early engagement on social channels and press mentions. Cinqaset showcases how effective collaboration between branding and design can transform an idea into a thriving hospitality destination.
