The team behind Atlanta staple Marlow’s Tavern set out to make their specialties resonate with a younger and faster generation. They secured a location in the emerging Westside Village and prepared to introduce a restaurant concept that blended worldly flavors with a farm-to-table approach. Launching a new restaurant in the middle of a pandemic presented unique challenges. The brand needed to stand apart in a crowded dining scene while appealing to a younger audience with different expectations.

The new identity had to balance authenticity with sophistication and create excitement strong enough to bring customers through the doors. We partnered with the Marlow’s team to bring the Woodall to life through a distinct brand identity that captured the restaurant’s worldly yet approachable character. A strong launch strategy introduced the Woodall to the Atlanta market with energy and relevance, complete with marketing materials and campaigns that positioned the restaurant as both a neighborhood favorite and a destination.

The Woodall quickly became one of Eater Atlanta’s top new spots and a standout in the Westside Village community. Guests embraced the restaurant’s elevated yet easygoing personality, creating a vibrant atmosphere where Thursdays felt as lively as Saturdays. Within weeks, the restaurant built a loyal following and positioned itself as both a local favorite and a must-visit dining experience.
